I’ve been a creator all my life. Long before I picked up a camera, I was a writer — chasing stories, observing people, and eventually publishing my sci-fi novel in 2022. Writing taught me how to find the underlying truth in a character. Photography became a natural extension of that instinct: a way of writing with light instead of words.

I came to portraiture quite by accident. I began with real estate photography — learning the technical language of light, space, and composition from the ground up. But the more I photographed people, the more I understood where my real passion thrived: portraits that reveal character rather than record appearance.

What I'm looking for in every session is the same thing I was always looking for on the page — the moment of truth. The expression, the spark, the instant of genuine emotion that can't be manufactured and can't be posed. That's the image worth making.
